How do I make donations?

Project Feed is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which makes all donations us to our organization tax deductible. Make your donation by December 31 to ensure that it can be deducted.

Your tax-deductible donation will help provide meals to families and individuals struggling with hunger through our nationwide network of food programs and panties. Through the generosity and kindness of donations like yours, Project Feed helps provide more than 100 million meals to more than 60 million – or one in every five families or individuals in need.

Will I get a receipt for my donation?

Yes, once your donation has been processed, you will receive a confirmation letter and receipt that you can keep for your personal records. You should receive this acknowledgement within 24 to 48 hours after we receive your donation.

How can I make a food or item donation?

We can assist you in determining what items are needed at the present time and arrange for pick up if you like. If you wish to donate grocery products directly to one of our local food pantries, visit our product donation page for more details.

Can I make a donation in someone’s memory?

Yes. More people are choosing alternative gift options for birthdays, holidays, memorials and many other occasions. Visit our honor/memorial donation form to make an honor or memorial gift. Fill in the blank space with the names and addresses of who you would like to receive an honor card. Or, if you are making a gift in memory of a loved one, please provide the name and address of who the card should be sent to, who the gift is in memory of, and who made the gift.

How is my donation being used?

Project Feed meets the highest financial standards for charities. Out of every dollar spent, 91.1 cents goes toward helping families, children and seniors. We spend just 7.0 cents on fundraising costs, and 2.0 cents on administration.

Who supports Project Feed?

The Project Feed network relies on Individual, Corporate and Foundation support to fund our hunger-relief programs in cities nationwide. This would not be possible without our donors time and support. This is all the resultant of combined efforts with our donors help.  

How can I volunteer for Project Feed?

Our volunteers are of all ages, gender and race/ethnicity living in the U.S. who educate,advocate and fundraise on behalf of Project Feed in their communities.

Our vast network of volunteers across the United States have increased awareness on issues of child hunger, advocated on behalf of, and raised or leveraged funds for Project Feed. - Volunteer registration.
